TERMS OF USE

Use WorkingPolicy to develop policy—not to manufacture authority.

terms-2026-07-20 · approved 2026-07-20

These Terms govern accounts and participation in the nationwide adult public beta. They take effect when the dynamic beta begins accepting accounts.

01

Eligibility and acceptance

Accounts require an attestation that the user is at least 18 and resides in one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia. Public reading remains global. Account creation records the accepted Terms and Privacy versions.

02

No manufactured authority

Community participation, support counts, verification labels, and AI material are not elections, representative polls, professional advice, government endorsement, or official action.

03

Content and publication

Private drafts remain user-owned under a limited service license. Intentionally published proposals and contributions use CC BY 4.0 after an explicit preview and immutable snapshot.

04

Security and conduct

Users must protect account access and may not impersonate authority, harass, expose private information, manipulate participation, evade controls, distribute malware, infringe rights, or use the service unlawfully.

05

Changes and disputes

Material changes receive 30 days’ notice where feasible and affirmative re-consent. North Carolina law applies subject to mandatory user protections; disputes use good-faith informal resolution and courts, without mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
